    Learning goals

    • Understand what bullet jump does.
    • Perform bullet jump reliably.
    • Aim bullet jumps in useful directions.
    • Avoid overusing bullet jump in tight spaces.

    Explanation

Bullet jump launches your Warframe quickly in the direction you aim while crouching or sliding and jumping. It is useful for crossing rooms quickly, reaching ledges, escaping danger, starting aerial movement chains, keeping up in public squads, and moving between enemies and objectives.

    Controls and smart use

These are default controls. If you changed keybinds, follow the action name in Options > Controls instead of the exact button.

    • PC default: hold Ctrl to crouch or slide, then press Space to jump. Holding Shift first helps you enter the slide with speed.
    • Controller default: move forward, hold the left bumper to slide, then press the jump button. Xbox uses A, PlayStation uses X, and Switch uses B by default.
    • Aim the camera where you want the launch to go. Look forward for distance, slightly upward for height, and diagonally for ledges or door approaches.
    • Use bullet jump to cross open rooms, leave danger, reach platforms, or restart momentum after a slow landing.
    • Avoid full-power bullet jumps in tiny doorframes, low ceilings, spy vault corners, or when you need to pick up something precisely.

    What should I do?

Practice bullet jumps in three directions: forward for speed, upward for height, and diagonal for ledges and doors. Aim matters. Your camera direction affects where you go.

How do I avoid wasting time?

Do not bullet jump blindly into doors, stairs, or ceiling beams. Fast players are not just pressing jump more often. They are aiming jumps through open space.

    Common mistakes

Watch for these patterns while practicing.

    • Looking too high and hitting ceilings.
    • Looking too low and barely moving.
    • Bullet jumping into small doorframes.
    • Repeating bullet jump without using double jump or aim glide.
    • Forgetting that bullet jump can be used defensively to leave danger.

    Practical example

You enter a long Corpus hallway. Walking is slow. Sprint, slide, and bullet jump carries you forward quickly. If the next door is low, aim slightly forward instead of straight upward.

    Key Takeaways

    • Bullet jump is the center of Warframe movement. Learn to aim it before trying to move faster.

    Practical task

You cannot build parkour chains until bullet jump feels reliable.

    1. Find a hallway or open room.
    2. Perform 10 forward bullet jumps.
    3. Perform 5 upward bullet jumps to reach ledges or platforms.
    4. Perform 5 diagonal bullet jumps around corners or obstacles.
    5. Focus on clean direction, not maximum speed.

You can bullet jump in the direction you intend at least 8 out of 10 times.
