    Learning goals

    • Understand Necramechs as heavy combat platforms.
    • Learn why they feel slower or heavier than Warframes.
    • Practice movement, turning, jumping, and positioning.
    • Use Necramechs where their durability and firepower matter.

    Explanation

Necramechs do not move like Warframes. They are heavier, less agile, and built around durability, firepower, and specific content compatibility. Their movement mindset is position before committing, avoid unnecessary tight spaces, use open areas, do not expect bullet-jump agility, and plan turns or exits earlier.

    Controls and smart use

Default controls can differ by platform and custom keybinds. If your controls do not match, follow the action name in Options > Controls.

    • Access: Necramech progression is tied to Deimos/Necralisk progression after Heart of Deimos. You generally build or acquire a Necramech through Deimos systems before using it freely where allowed.
    • Use: equip the Necramech summon/deploy item in the Gear Wheel when available, then select it in eligible open-world or mission areas.
    • Movement: basic movement uses normal direction controls such as W/A/S/D or left stick, with jump, sprint/boost, aim, fire, and ability bindings adapted to the Necramech.
    • Smart use: summon Necramech in content with enough space and where durability/firepower matter. Avoid tight parkour routes where Warframe movement is clearly better.

    What should I do?

Practice moving forward and stopping, turning toward a target, jumping or adjusting elevation if needed, repositioning before enemies surround you, and using open space to your advantage.

How do I avoid wasting time?

Do not bring a Necramech mindset into tight parkour tiles. Necramechs are strongest when their firepower and durability matter, not when the mission demands constant agile parkour.

    Common mistakes

Watch for these patterns while practicing.

    • Trying to move a Necramech like a Warframe.
    • Standing in one place too long.
    • Getting stuck in tight terrain.
    • Forgetting to reposition before being surrounded.
    • Using Necramech in situations where Warframe movement is clearly better.

    Practical example

In open Deimos content, a Necramech can feel powerful because there is room to move and fight. In tight spaces, the same heavy movement may feel awkward.

    Key Takeaways

    • Necramechs trade agility for durability and firepower. Move early, position well, and use open space.

    Practical task

Necramech survival depends on positioning, not agile parkour.

    1. Enter an area where Necramech use is available.
    2. Move to an open position.
    3. Face a target area.
    4. Fire or simulate combat.
    5. Reposition before enemies surround you.
    6. Repeat from a second position.

You reposition before you are trapped or stuck.
