    Learning goals

    • Recognize companion mods.
    • Recognize Archwing mods.
    • Recognize Necramech mods.
    • Recognize K-Drive mods.
    • Recognize Plexus and Railjack mods.
    • Learn to upgrade system-specific mods only when the system matters to you.

    Explanation

Not every mod applies everywhere. Companions, Archwings, Necramechs, K-Drives, the Plexus, and Railjack have their own mod pools and priorities. A normal rifle mod does not solve an Archwing or Railjack problem. System-specific modding becomes important when you actively use that system or when progression asks for it.

    What should I do?

When a system feels weak, open that system's actual mod screen and check its own capacity, drain, polarities, and available mods. Upgrade the mods for systems you currently use before spreading Endo across systems you rarely touch.

    How to avoid wasting time

Do not spend heavily on a system-specific mod family just because it exists. Spend when the system is part of your current goals.

    Common mistakes

Avoid these modding mistakes before spending Endo, Credits, Forma, adapters, or Platinum.

    • Upgrading mods for systems you do not use.
    • Expecting normal weapon mods to improve Archwing or Railjack gear.
    • Ignoring companion survivability or utility mods.
    • Treating Necramech, K-Drive, and Archwing modding as normal Warframe modding.
    • Forgetting system-specific capacity and polarity rules.

    Practical example

If your companion dies constantly, weapon mods will not fix it. You need to inspect companion survivability and utility mods. If Railjack feels weak, check Plexus and Railjack-specific mods instead of only your normal Arsenal weapons.

    Key Takeaways

    • Use the right mod pool for the right system. Do not solve system-specific problems with unrelated mods.

    Practical task

System-specific problems need the correct mod screen.

    1. Choose one system: companion, Archwing, Necramech, K-Drive, Plexus, or Railjack.
    2. Open its mod screen if available.
    3. Identify three mods that belong to that system.
    4. Check capacity and drain.
    5. Choose one useful low-risk upgrade or mark the system as Learn Later.

You can explain which mod pool applies to the system.
